Last night when we arrived at Sophia's dance class we found out that it was costume fitting night. Sophia has been enrolled in Ballet since the end of August. She has enjoyed every minute of it and I think that Jim and I have enjoyed watching her just as much. Her recital is not until June and we are starting to count down the days. I am so glad that I waited until she was almost 5 to start her into the class. She is so focused and serious about this that there is no doubt we made the right decision at the correct time. The only down side is little sister Lillian begs to join her each week. Jim and I have discussed it and we want her to wait until she is older just as her sister did. Jim has also mentioned that maybe Soccer is the activity that Lillian should do since she spends her days running and kicking everything in sight. :)
We hope that all of our children will find something that they are passionate about and that they find much joy in that activity. As a parent this is one of those many moments that God shows me the beauty in the blessing of my children. Nothing brings me more joy that to see my family happy and loving life. It definitely makes up for those days of little sleep, lots of crying and nobody's happy.
