Winter Fun

Monday marked Jim's first day of paternity leave. Yes, you read right he is officially on leave for the arrival of baby Carlisle. He used vacation time in December and was unable to take the time off in January so it ended up happening in February. He has already been a huge help and I am so thankful that he was able to have the time off. Over the weekend he took the girls out to play in the snow. I realized that I HAVE to buy them snowsuits for next year. They love playing outside but get so cold. I always think that if I do buy one then it will never snow. Stupid reasoning, I know. We put multiple layers on Sophia and squeezed Lillian into our newphew Sam's old snowsuit. They had a blast and Jim was worn out the rest of the day. I think he would agree that it was totally worth it. As I type this blog the snow is coming down again. We had 6 inches over the weekend and we are set to get 5-6 more inches. Fun times!



Sophia was so proud of her snowman. Lillian was ready to come inside. I think you can tell from her face.

I had to put one photo of Baby C and here he is in his new chair. He's not yet ready to sit in it alone but we hope he will enjoy it once the time comes.
